Meet the Owner

Kristie Smith is Principal Broker, at KSmith Properties Realty, and Principal Instructor at KSmith Real Estate Institute.  

 

She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 in Consumer Psychology and in 2003 earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, with an emphasis in Radio, Television and Film; after which, she worked as part of the morning show production team with local CBS Affiliate, KATV Channel 7.

 

Smith later earned a Master of Business Administration, with a Marketing emphasis, from Walden University in 2008. She began a career in advertising and marketing as an Advertising Accounts Executive, with a local ad agency, specializing in diversity marketing.

 

Kristie Smith began her real estate career in Denver, Colorado in 2010 at Armbrust Real Estate Institute, after starting a family. Upon returning to Arkansas, she worked for McKimmey Associates Realtors ®in 2012 and would later join Crye-Leike Realtors ®of Arkansas in 2014, as an office administrator, and later becoming a sales agent, specializing in; foreclosed, bank owned, distressed, and investment properties in Central Arkansas. In 2016 she directed her focus to new construction broadening her real estate education.

 

In 2019 KSmith Properties Realty and KSmith Real Estate Institute was born.

 

Mrs. Smith has been an adjunct professor in the Schools of Business at; The University of Phoenix, Strayer University and Remington College. She current serves on the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Alumni Board of Directors.

 

She is a married, mother of two boys, and a self-proclaimed HouseNerd!
